Welcome!

Hello, my name is natasha chung!

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a passionate real estate agent based right here in the beautiful Durham Region, and I truly love what I do. Helping people find a place to call home—or move on to their next chapter—isn’t just my job, it’s something I care deeply about. Whether you’re buying your very first home, looking for a rental, or ready to sell, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way and make the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Whitby has been my home for the past 27 years. I've built a life here and even ran two family-owned businesses in the community. Those experiences taught me the true meaning of hard work, commitment, and what it takes to deliver amazing service. They also helped me develop skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving—skills I now bring to every real estate journey I’m a part of.

To me, real estate is about so much more than just buying and selling. It’s about connection. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and being part of such an important moment in their lives. I don’t take that lightly. My goal is always to treat my clients like family—because that’s how I’d want to be treated.

So, if you’re thinking about making a move, I’d be honoured to be a part of your journey. Let’s chat, grab a coffee, and talk about what’s next for you.

Thinking of buying, selling or even renting?

Every real estate journey is unique, and understanding your goals is the first step to making them a reality. Whether you’re dreaming of buying your first home, planning to sell with confidence, or exploring rental options, I’m here to listen and provide honest, expert advice tailored just for you. Let’s have a conversation about what matters most to you and create a plan that fits your timeline and lifestyle.

Let’s Talk About Selling Your Home

I’ll help you sell with confidence—offering expert advice, a customized marketing strategy, and dedicated support from start to finish. Let’s get you the best possible result, with less stress.

Strategies to pricing?

  • Overpriced homes tend to attract little interest and may sit on the market too long. By the time the price is reduced to align with market value, the listing can appear stale—and buyers may wonder what’s wrong with the property. You might think buyers will just “make an offer,” but the reality is, if your home is priced above their search range, they may never see it at all.  Many sellers assume that starting with a higher price gives them room to negotiate later. But pricing your home too high from the start can actually work against you.
  • While it might seem smart to price your home low to attract more attention, underpricing can have drawbacks too.
A low price may lead buyers to assume there’s something wrong with the property, and you risk leaving money on the table—especially in a competitive market where multiple offers are possible.
The goal is to price your home right—to generate strong interest, attract serious buyers, and maximize your return. A well-priced home creates excitement and often sells faster, and for more.

Staging techniques

  • Staging is important because it helps buyers emotionally connect with a home, which can lead to faster sales and better offers. When a space is clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully arranged, it allows people to see its full potential—and imagine themselves living there. Staging highlights a home's best features, downplays any flaws, and makes rooms feel bigger and more inviting. In today’s competitive market, especially with so many buyers starting their search online, great photos of a staged home can make all the difference. It’s not just about decorating—it’s about creating a feeling that turns a showing into a sale.

Photography and Videography

  • Photography and videography are key to selling a home because they create a strong first impression. Most buyers start their search online, and high-quality visuals help your home stand out. Professional photos highlight the best features, while video tours give buyers a better sense of the layout and flow. This can lead to more interest, more showings, and often a faster sale.

Home Evaluation

Buying or Renting

Deciding whether to rent or buy comes down to your financial situation, lifestyle, and future plans. Buying a home can be a smart investment if you’re financially stable, plan to stay in one place for several years, and want to build equity over time. It offers long-term stability and the freedom to customize your space, but it also comes with higher upfront costs and responsibilities like maintenance and property taxes. On the other hand, renting is often more flexible and affordable in the short term, making it a good choice if you’re saving for a down payment, working on your credit, or anticipating major life changes. Ultimately, the right choice depends on your goals and how long you plan to stay in the same area.

Renting

Thinking of Renting?
Finding the right rental can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you navigate the market, understand your options, and find a place that truly feels like home. Let’s make your next move simple and stress-free.

Buying

Thinking of Buying?
Whether you’re a first-time buyer or looking for your next home, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. With expert advice, local insights, and personalized support, we’ll find the right home for you—without the overwhelm.

what to consider?

    • Are you prepared financially?

It's one of the most important questions to ask yourself before buying a home. Beyond just saving for a down payment, you’ll want to consider closing costs, moving expenses, property taxes, possible updates and ongoing maintenance. It’s also important to know how much you can comfortably afford month-to-month—not just what the bank says you qualify for. Having a solid budget, a good credit score, and a healthy emergency fund can make the home buying process much smoother and less stressful. Taking the time to get financially ready now can save you a lot of stress—and money—down the road.

  • Define what matters most to you

Knowing what you want in a home is just as important as knowing what you can afford. It helps you stay focused, make faster decisions, and avoid getting overwhelmed by all the options out there.

Think about your must-haves and separate them from your nice-to-haves.:

  1. Number of bedrooms?
  2. Outdoor space
  3.  Location ?
  4. Are you looking for something move-in ready, or are you open to a fixer-upper?
  5. Do you want to be close to schools, transit, or work?

When you’re clear on your priorities, it makes the search more efficient and ensures that when the right place comes along, you’ll recognize it right away.
